Looksmaxxing Starts With Your Body: Lean, Muscular, Confident
A lot of looksmaxxing advice asks you to obsess over what you cannot change. I would rather work on the things you can influence safely: muscle, body composition, posture, sleep, hydration, and everyday habits. How to look better is a reasonable question. Harmful hacks are not a reasonable answer.
My coaching is for adults 18 and older and happens online. We build a leaner, stronger physique through progressive training, macro-focused nutrition, and recovery. I will not promise a new face, a sharper jawline, or a particular appearance. Your genetics and starting point matter, and confidence is more than a measurement.

The method
How I coach
- Step 01
Training
Progressive overload every week. You lift a little more or move a little better, and I track every set.
Note: LOAD +2.5%/WK
- Step 02
Recovery
Muscle grows when you recover. Rest days, deloads and volume are planned, never left to chance.
Note: VOLUME MANAGED
- Step 03
Nutrition
Calories and macros set for your goal, then adjusted every week from your real data.
Note: MACROS / DAILY
- Step 04
Hydration
Water and electrolytes matched to your training so you perform and recover at your best.
Note: TARGET / DAILY
- Step 05
Cardio
Steps and cardio dosed to support fat loss and heart health without eating into your gains.
Note: STEPS + ZONE 2
- Step 06
Lifestyle
Sleep, stress and schedule built into the plan. Habits you can keep for life, no crash diets.
Note: SUSTAINABLE
Build the shoulders and back for a V-taper
A looksmaxxing workout does not need secret exercises. For a stronger V-taper, I focus on developing the shoulders and upper back while training the whole body. Rows, pull variations, presses, and lateral raises can be useful when selected for your equipment and ability. We record reps and loads and apply progressive overload rather than switching routines every week.
A wider-looking upper body is also about posture and proportion, not just muscle size. We include lower-body work and enough pulling to build strength through a full range of motion. I will not prescribe one 'perfect' shoulder-to-waist ratio. The plan should make you stronger, move better, and fit your schedule.
Hard training only works when recovery catches up. We discuss sleep, rest days, and whether a session needs to be scaled back during stressful weeks. Trying to train every muscle every day is not a shortcut. It can make it harder to perform well when the important workouts arrive.
Body fat, your face, and realistic expectations
Some people notice their face or jawline looks more defined as they lose overall body fat. You cannot spot-reduce facial fat, choose how your jaw develops, or guarantee the same change someone else sees. I do not sell jawline exercises as a substitute for body composition work, and I do not recommend pushing body fat below a healthy level for a photo.
When fat loss is appropriate, we create a manageable calorie deficit and keep protein high enough to support training. Carbs remain in the plan because you need fuel to train hard. We choose meals and portions you can live with. No crash diets, no deliberate dehydration, and no cycles of punishing yourself after a social meal.
We can track waist measurements, training numbers, photos if you want them, and how you feel. If cutting starts hurting your energy, mood, or sleep, it is time to reassess. Read more about fat loss coaching if body composition is the part you want to focus on first.
Posture, sleep, and habits people actually notice
Posture is not a trick to fake a different skeleton. Strengthening the muscles you use to pull, carry, and stabilize, then becoming aware of how you stand, can help you present yourself more comfortably. If you have pain or a condition affecting posture, ask a qualified clinician for an assessment instead of trying to train through it.
Sleep can affect how alert you feel and how well you recover. Food quality and regular meals support the training, while good hydration can help you feel prepared for the day. I often encourage a gallon of water daily when appropriate, but anyone with a medical reason to limit fluids should follow their doctor's advice. None of these habits guarantees clear skin or changes facial structure.
Grooming, clothes that fit, and basic skin care are personal choices outside the training plan. I can help you build a routine that supports confidence, not tell you that buying another product will fix self-esteem. A glow up that relies on comparison and harsh self-talk is not the goal here.
No bone-smashing, extreme diets, or unproven hacks
I do not recommend bone-smashing, deliberate injury, extreme calorie restriction, dehydration, or unproven appearance hacks. Damaging tissue will not build a reliable, healthy physique. If advice online promises to reshape your face quickly with pain or starvation, step away from it. A clinician is the right person to discuss an actual health or structural concern.
Cardio does not need to become punishment either. Light incline walking three to five times a week can complement lifting and help you stay active without dominating your life. We adjust it to your schedule and recovery. Steady work over time is less dramatic than a viral routine and much more useful to assess honestly.
For a detailed breakdown of a sensible program, read the looksmaxxing workout guide. It covers training choices without promising that any exercise will change your bones or make you look like another person.
How Dante Johnson coaching works for your goal
I begin with a questionnaire and a one-on-one call about your training experience, equipment, food habits, schedule, and what you actually want to change. Then I build your personalized workout program and meal plan. You do the work, keep training records, and tell me what feels sustainable. We review progress weekly and adjust when recovery, strength, or life demands change.
Foundation costs $175 per month for one custom meal plan, a training program, weekly calls, and 24/7 direct text. Performance costs $225 and includes two meal plans. Elite costs $275 and includes three meal plans, a program updated every four weeks, two weekly calls, video form reviews, and priority text access. Choose a 3, 6, or 12 month commitment; paying in full offers a discount shown below.
I cannot guarantee a V-taper, visible abs, or a certain level of confidence. What we can do is build a repeatable process and evaluate what changes for you. If you are looking for a healthy way to improve your physique, book a free call. Tell me what you want out of coaching and we will start with the levers that make sense for your body and life.
